A Deeper Look Into My Story and Approach

If you've landed here, you've likely already read a little about me on the Together Tree Therapy homepage. This page offers a deeper look into who I am as a therapist, how I work, what guides me, and the experience I bring to our sessions. Whether you're a caregiver seeking support for your child, a teen feeling overwhelmed, or an adult navigating old wounds or new challenges, I’m honored you’re exploring more

Before founding Together Tree Therapy, I spent several years in school settings (2019–2023), including time as a school counselor. I supported students through anxiety, trauma, grief, and transitions. This work taught me that even in systems not designed for healing, connection can still occur, that steady, compassionate support can have a profoundly positive impact on a person's life.

During this time, I was featured in The Record for my work supporting students transitioning back into classrooms after COVID-related closures. This experience affirmed what I carry into my private practice today: healing begins with presence and attunement.

In 2022, I moved into private practice, working at a group practice for three years. There, I deepened my focus on attachment, trauma recovery, and clinical tools that empower long-term healing.

Ongoing Learning & Supervision

Continuing education is a core part of how I grow as a clinician. I’m committed to staying informed about the latest research in trauma, attachment, child development, and nervous system regulation. I regularly seek out advanced training, engage in clinical consultation, and collaborate with experts in the field to ensure that the care I provide is ethical, evidence-based, and attuned to each client’s needs.

My training is rooted in trauma-informed, developmentally responsive frameworks, and I prioritize approaches that integrate both the body and the brain. I’ve pursued advanced education in modalities that support healing across the lifespan, from early childhood through adulthood.

In addition to formal training, I actively participate in consultation groups focused on complex trauma, attachment repair, and play-based interventions. These relationships challenge me to think critically, reflect often, and continually deepen the quality of care I offer.

I organize my training around three main areas:

If you're here, it's likely that something within you, or your child, is ready for support. That first step can be the hardest, but you don’t have to take it alone. I offer free 10-minute consultation calls to explore if we’re a good fit.

Let’s connect, and together, move at a pace that feels right for you.
